As long as we could keep in mind that we must respect each individual, expressing personal view should be fine as long as they are factual! If such view touches on personal integrity, smearing techniques should not be tolerated.

Most open fora nowadays has ground rules to ensure discussions are carried out in a civilized manner and treat everyone with respect. Admin may consider adopting these ground rules and publish them so people could reference. Like playing golf, there are etiquette to follow. However, these rules are for ladies and gentlemen. There are just there to remind everyone the rightful behavior and not to police the freedom of speech.

Regarding market value of FC, my opinion is that it is the well manner behavior of the residents and good collective neighborhood that would nurture a reputation and value for FC. Of course, except MTR, no one would say no to lowering maintenance fees. With nearly 4,000 units when the project fully completes, there are bounded to be differences. If one is getting the value for the money spent and the money was spent for the benefits of the majority of the residents, there is really not an issue. Unless someone is pushing his or her avoid-ability level, such fee should not be the only deciding factor either.

I think this thread has side-tracked to never-never-land and we would never get any construction conclusion.

May I suggest admin to lock this thread (not to delete it so people can still view the thread and draw their own conclusions) and reopen a new one so everyone could REALLY discuss the issues that should be raised during the FC Owner's Meeting? The subject of this thread is really confusing for new comer like me!
